Since 2012, I have come to work every day energized to serve my clients by listening and understanding what is most important to them, and then partnering together to make those hopes, dreams and goals a reality. I grew up with two brothers in a family of very modest means, and we were taught that hard work, respect and responsibility were crucial tenets of life. I have brought those lessons I learned way back then, into my practice today. Born overwhelmingly positive, and a tad obsessive about details, my clients appreciate my ability to listen and understand their needs, as well as keep them organized.

Using a behavioral finance coaching approach, I work with my client to utilize money and investing as a tool. Working through an established process, I build personalized financial strategies for my clients that are designed to achieve their unique goals. I take the time to ask my clients essential questions and truly listen to their responses in order to identify what is most important to them. I then construct measurable objectives tailored to their circumstances. Once the strategy is implemented, I maintain regular contact with my clients to inform them of any developments and help keep them on track throughout their lives. To help ensure my clients receive the best guidance and advice available, I regularly collaborate with a team of CPAs, attorneys and other trusted professionals, always keeping client information confidential. I am proud to serve a wide variety of clients, whose goals range from growing wealth to saving for education expenses to planning and living a successful retirement. I regularly work with multi-generational families to develop unique strategies of wealth transfer. Many of my clients are also successful executives and small business owners with whom I help create strategies for business succession, asset growth and tax reduction.

My wife Kim and our three kids, Caleb, Olivia and Joshua Jr., reside in Eliot. We enjoy traveling tremendously, and look forward to another road trip out west next year. Optimistic and energetic by nature, I enjoy coaching youth and high school sports. Currently I help coach high school basketball, and depending on the season you can find me on various sidelines and dugouts. A lesson I learned early on in life, was the value of giving back. I serve on the Advisory Board for the Choose To Be Healthy Coalition of S. Maine, am a Charter Member and former President of the Kittery Rotary After Hours Club, and served as Chair of a multi-district Rotary committee.

I am very excited to join the team at Steward Partners after 8 years at my previous firm, where I was a limited partner and served in many leadership roles, including mentor, field trainer, visiting veteran and recruiting leader.
